Downlaod the BiXBiT custom firmware for Whatsminer M2x series, which supports the Whatsminer M20s and M21s models.
The performance of the miner is increased by the Whatsminer M20s immersion firmware from BiXBiT up to 90Th/s. The firmware is suited to Whatsminer M20s and M21s models. This version includes overclocking in addition to having a user-friendly interface and a ton of practical settings and features.
The limits for chip voltages, frequency, and power supply are unlocked by firmware. With the same stock power supplies, mining speed increases by up to 10% on devices with three hash boards and up to 40% on devices with two hash boards. The device’s standard web panel includes an interface for frequency boosting. DevFee (commission) is 2%

Use WhatsMinerTool for the installation
It is necessary to flash the ASIC using the SD-card if the firmware cannot be installed using WhatsMinerTool. For this:
- Check the version of your control board (for M2x these are H3, H6, H6oscontrol boards)
- Download the utility for reverting your equipment to the service firmware: H3, H6 or H6os
- Prepare the ASIC for SD card flashing. The detailed process is shown in the video below:
- Once the firmware is installed, open the ASIC’s web panel and go to the Configuration>Miner Configuration>Overclock. The configuration settings of your ASIC are located here.
This section also has the Immersion Cooling option, which has to be checked if you immerse the ASIC into liquid. If there are errors related to the PSU cooler, it is required to flash the PSU using the function in the firmware: Miner configuration > PSU firmware > Upgrade PSU firmware
